《島鳴》是由新竹直笛合奏團帶來的大型直笛交響音樂會，以「島嶼如何被聽見」為策展主軸，透過直笛豐富而細膩的音色層次，描繪臺灣的山林、海洋、聚落與城市，展現土地、人文與聲音風景交織而成的島嶼記憶。
本場音樂會匯集多位臺灣作曲家為直笛樂團量身打造的代表作品，包括廖憲一《島鳴》、林岑陵《帕希瓦利》、周久渝《山線交響》與謝宗仁《嗚》，同時演出國際作曲家 Stephen Watkins《Symphony for Taiwan》及 Dietrich Schnabel《A Night Stroll in Taipei》。不同文化背景的創作者，以各自的視角描繪臺灣，展現臺灣文化如何成為國際音樂創作的重要靈感來源。
《島鳴》不僅是一場音樂會，更是一場屬於臺灣的聲音敘事。透過直笛樂團交響化的演奏形式，呈現臺灣當代直笛創作的豐碩成果，也展現新竹直笛合奏團多年來深耕委託創作、推廣臺灣作品與國際交流的成果，讓臺灣的故事與聲音在世界舞台持續迴響。
Performed by the Hsin-Chu Recorder Orchestra, Voice of Taiwan celebrates the landscapes, memories, and cultural identity of Taiwan through the rich sound of the recorder orchestra.
The program features original works by Taiwanese composers alongside compositions inspired by Taiwan from international composers. From mountains and forests to city streets and local stories, each work offers a unique musical portrait of the island.
More than a concert, Voice of Taiwan showcases the artistic creativity of Taiwanese recorder music and highlights Taiwan's distinctive voice in today's international music community.
