臺灣直笛音樂發展蓬勃，逐步成為亞洲重要的直笛發展重鎮。
由亞洲首位取得木笛演奏博士學位的演奏家──陳孟亨發起，並由新竹直笛合奏團主辦策劃，「臺灣國際直笛音樂節」於2024年正式創立，期望透過國際交流與專業展演，提升臺灣在全球直笛界的能見度與影響力。首屆音樂節成功吸引國內外音樂家與愛樂者參與，並獲得國際媒體關注，為臺灣直笛文化建立嶄新品牌形象。
Taiwan has experienced remarkable growth in recorder music over recent decades, establishing itself as one of Asia's leading centers for recorder performance, education, and artistic development.
The Taiwan Recorder Festival was founded in 2024 by Meng-Heng Chen, the first Asian musician to earn a doctoral degree in Recorder Performance, and is organized by the Hsin-Chu Recorder Orchestra. Created to foster international exchange and showcase artistic excellence, the festival aims to enhance Taiwan's visibility and influence within the global recorder community. Its inaugural edition successfully attracted musicians, educators, and music enthusiasts from Taiwan and abroad, receiving international media attention and establishing a distinctive new identity for Taiwan's recorder culture.

音樂節2026臺灣國際直笛音樂節將延續首屆成果，以「國際交流、世代傳承、教育深化、在地連結」為核心理念，邀請來自世界各地的頂尖直笛演奏家齊聚臺灣，共同演出與交流。活動內容涵蓋主題音樂會、國際直笛比賽、大師班、專題講座、工作坊及展覽等多元形式，結合專業演出、教育推廣與文化交流，全面展現直笛藝術豐富且多元的面貌。
透過持續舉辦國際級音樂盛會，臺灣國際直笛音樂節期盼成為連結世界直笛社群的重要平台，讓世界看見臺灣直笛藝術的深厚實力與創新能量，並逐步打造亞洲最具影響力的直笛交流平台之一。
Building upon this success, the 2026 Taiwan Recorder Festival embraces the core values of international exchange, intergenerational heritage, educational enrichment, and local engagement. Renowned recorder artists from around the world will be invited to Taiwan for performances, collaboration, and cultural exchange. The festival program features gala concerts, an international recorder competition, masterclasses, lectures, workshops, and exhibitions, integrating professional performance, music education, and cultural dialogue to showcase the recorder's rich artistic diversity.
Through the continued development of this international festival, we aspire to present Taiwan's artistic achievements to the world and establish one of Asia's most influential platforms for recorder performance, education, and international exchange.
